The programme is a Nordic Master Programme, and it was developed with support from the Nordic Council of Ministers.
In 2010 and 2012 Oxford Research conducted a comprehensive evaluation of nine international master programmes started in recent years with support from the Nordic Council of Ministers. The Religious Roots of Europe programme is by far the largest of these. A total of 91 students were interviewed, and the evaluation is very good. 54% of all students state that they are very satisfied with their programme, and 44% say they are satisfied.
Students point to the international character of the programmes. In fact, over half the interviewed students that they would not have applied if the studies had been limited to a single country.
