Travel is an essential and integrated part of the study programme and one which is very popular with students.

See a travel report here.

As a student, you are given the opportunity to visit Nordic institutes and universities in other cities for the two compact seminars each semester. These seminars are immersive and students are expected to participate in them fully. The experiences form the backbone of the course and are extremely valuable academically but they are also excellent cultural and social occasions.

Travel and accommodation are financed by the students, and costs are anticipated to be around EUR 3,500 over the two years. However, there are generous bursaries available from the Nordplus foundation that reimburse around half the costs as well as fund some of the food provision during the seminars.
